Conversations with Black Men...

• "In reading the book the author provides you with an overwhelming feeling of deep-rooted trauma that has been experienced within the black community.  At times the flow can seem accusatory or attacking, but as you read through the passages, you begin to realize the accuracy of the shared experiences.
• The context and conversations resonated with me as I progressed through the lines. I started to see the repeated patterns that I have also experienced in my relationships with black men.  Their insecurities and desire to find “a mother” while expecting to be respected as “as man”.  Their unrealistic broken thoughts around remaining an emotional child but demanding the treatment of an independent adult".
