Conversation with Black Men...

"I felt that the overall feel of the book was full of relevant context for critical conversations that are necessary for the healing of Black Families.

The points of the book I connect with the most was the letter regarding the dept Men owed Women for the centuries of mistreatment. Paying for their father's sins. Another way in relation to role's men and women played in the Black household. Money earned, meals cooked, children's values and ethics culture.

I feel that the dismantling only happens with Black families, that start over with non-Black partners is the loss of Culture. I feel it is the parents' responsibility to ensure that his children are educated properly in regard to their customs values and history.

I would invite the book into discussion session that made sense to support a target argument or point of interest. Yes, I would invite non-Black people to the conversation as they are the potential other parent. It is important for them to be educated on certain topics of concern in the community".

Poetry

Words have the incredible power to change the world and transform societies. Through poems, the impact can be even more profound as they have the ability to touch people's hearts and ignite creative change.

Poems are an outlet for expressing emotions and ideas in a unique and captivating manner. With their carefully chosen words and rhythmic structure, poets can effectively convey powerful messages that resonate with their audience. By addressing social issues such as discrimination, inequality, or environmental degradation, poets can stir emotions and provoke critical thinking. These verses, like seeds sown in fertile minds, have the potential to sprout empathy, understanding, and ultimately, inspire individuals to work towards positive change.

Poets often depict shared experiences or emotions that transcend cultural, racial, and socio-economic backgrounds.
